Join Persian Food Blogger and Photographer Saghar Setareh on saturday 7th & sunday 8th December in her Persian Cooking Class, the perfect celebration of this festive season.

These are the only two dates for 2019/2020 in Rome and there’s only a few spots left, given the popularity of Saghar’s classes. Grab your reservation fast!

In this Christmas edition you will be working with cinnamon, cardamom, roses, pomegranates and plenty of dried fruit, while Saghar will be sharing all about her latest trip to Iran.
You’ll learn more about the ancient Festival of Yalda, a wonderful celebration of the winter solstice.

To start:
Cheese and wild herbs, the Persian way

Main dishes:

Persian pilaf with lentils and caramelized onions, served with fried eggs and dates

Jeweled rice with pistachios, almonds and orange zest, served with saffron golden chicken

Side dish:
Mint and pomegranate salad

Dessert:
Persian love cake with roses, served with cardamom tea

A Turin inspired lunch with Emiko Davies – Thursday 30 May

Emiko Davies brings her warmth and love for heirloom recipes and regional Italian class to Rome for a day class and lunch from her latest cookbook Tortellini at Midnight.

There will be coffee and a hazelnut cake from Piedmonte to start the day, followed by rolling and kneading, mixing and pinching to make Walnut Grissini to crunch on with home made Vermouth, classic Agnellotti al plin, a tachhino tonnato and more.

Cook the Season – small group classes

This small group class starts at the open air Mercato di Via Niccolini in Monteverde Vecchio where we will shop for seasonal ingredients for a simple vegetable focussed lunch. Back at the studio kitchen we will prepare a regional antipasto, make fresh pasta, prepare two seasonal vegetable dishes and a fruit focussed dessert.

The class will be led by cook, food stylist and teacher Alice Adams, and has a maximum of five participants. Click on the dates to book, and get in contact to suggest a date!
